Briana's Story : Facing disability and poverty yet HOPE thru CHRIST!

Poverty, pain and despair could describe the beginning of her journey. Briana was born with Spina Bifida. Briana (4 years old) has developed a cyst/ pocket on her back of spinal fluids bulging out her lower back that could rupture at anytime and she needs immediate surgery due to the severity of her untreated condition. This can cause nerve damage and is associated with more severe disabilities often results in damage to the spinal cord and nerves. Our prayer is the Lord provides treatment that will someday allow Briana to use some combination of leg braces, walkers, crutches to walk. Our LORD is providing her a life change with your help!

Briana also has problems with her left hip. She has a condition called luxada hip dysplasia. Basically her hip socket doesn't fully cover the ball portion of the upper thighbone. This has caused her hip joint to become partially or completely dislocated and an additional surgery.

Briana has a club left foot too. As you can see, it is quite severe and it will also require surgery. Boots/Casting is not an option to correct her club foot due to severity and her age.

DOMINIC Post Surgery New Legs Praise the LORD!

Nuestro pequeño guerrero (our little warrior!) is feeling the pain and trying to sleep thru it the best he can. This is normal and expected but difficult nevertheless. Just to better explain on simple terms, during his surgery cuts were made thru both thigh bones right above the knee joint to straighten the knees and allow Dominic to stand more upright and bend in knee area aiding his ability to walk. After the bones were straightened, they are held in place with plates and screws and then heavy casting. The kneecap was moved around front closer to the knee joint to improve leg strength, and the patellar tendon, which connects the kneecap and thigh muscles to the shin bone.

Yes it's a miracle to think God allowed this !

INCLUSION AWARENESS October 2022

We celebrate INCLUSION AWARENESS for the physically disabled and mentally challenged. Watch the little girl enter into the video with the pink striped shirt as she joins the fun. She is welcomed into the group as family. What makes her unique is she is a deaf mute along with a few other challenges. I intentionally muted sound so you could experience life in her world. She begins dancing and playing and is accepted, just as GOD MADE HER PERFECT IN HIS IMAGE!

DOMINIC A MIRACLE IN THE MAKING!

Praise the Lord, we have locked in Dominic’s operation on Saturday September 17th, 2022. We booked/reserved a operating room at local La Clinica Holandesa (The Dutch Peace Social Clinic) in Arequipa. The surgeon from Lima will be traveling to AQP which is a real added blessing for sure. We are still awaiting more specifics and I will put together a more detailed explanation to share but wanted to share immediately as this came together very fast (truly thankful but surprised nevertheless.) A heartfelt thanks for helping make this happen with Dominic. We should expect God will do great things thru DOMINIC and helping him. PLEASE WATCH HIS STORY BELOW:

CARLOS RECEIVES GIFT TO WALK AGAIN!

We met Carlos at our open Christmas party for the disabled at our local park and he randomly asked us to help him get a leg!?!! He lost his leg in a terrible accident 3 years ago. Somehow God mapped this out and we sponsored him with connections from the US to make this life change come true. His family of 5 live in our local brick yard with no fresh water source, no plumbing and a dirt floor. Only God could have done this with your help as this technology/prosthetics are  not for available in Perú !

First Day Perú 🇵🇪 Dental Clinic:

Four year old Andy is non verbal, paraplegic, unable to sit up, challenged with microcefalia (small head) , curved spine and a slow developing body. Your help allowed Andy and his Mom (21) and brother (3) to get free dental work today. Your help provides weekly physical therapy for Andy and a new customized fitted wheelchair allowing him to sit up. Our LORD uses this to provide HOPE! We served over 60 families with this pop up clinic at our church ! #livesimply4peru
