A bilingual team helps you plan. Accommodation options can include a mission house, hostel, or hotel, depending on your group and destination.

Help with food distribution, home repairs, water delivery, or other needs identified by the local team. Monthly food rations reach about 76 special needs, disabled and single mom families, with a Gospel message shared each visit, and water-truck deliveries serve areas with no fresh water source.

When can a group come?
The ministry hosts groups year-round, with one- and two-week options. Contact the team to discuss availability and current service opportunities.
Do we need to speak Spanish?
A bilingual team supports visiting groups. Share your group’s language needs as you plan.
Can we explore Peru during our trip?
The original mission trips page lists possible excursions to Machu Picchu, Colca Canyon, the Amazon, and Lake Titicaca. Availability, time, and costs should be planned directly with the team.
How do we find out about costs and travel?
Email the missions team with your group size, destination, and available dates. The team can discuss accommodation and arrangements suited to your trip.
Where will our team stay?
Live Simply staff share the daily journey with your team 24/7, with multiple bilingual staff members alongside you at all times. Our support team shares accommodations with your team at the Live Simply Mission House, a local secure hostel, or a hotel, depending on your team’s preferences.
What kind of work will we do?
Each team helps select a project that leaves a lasting impact. Service projects include light physical labor at a feeding center for street kids, an orphanage for the abandoned, or a special needs center. Visitors can serve with our staff on-site or in the local community, and our staff works directly with each group to make every trip a successful, secure and meaningful experience.

Thank you for considering a short-term mission trip to serve with our Live Simply community in Arequipa, Peru. Through short-term mission trips, our goal is to encourage and empower people to partner with us in caring for children in distress. Many of our full-time missionaries, current child sponsors and long-term partners were first visitors on a short-term mission trip. Simply put, our mission of caring for orphans and the special needs community is most successful when our doors are open to those willing to serve. We pray your journey will be unforgettable as well as life-changing!

Provide love and labor at Special Needs Orphanages.
Join us distributing monthly food rations to approximately 76 special needs, disabled, Single Mom’s living in areas of extreme poverty. We share a Gospel message each visit providing hope through Jesus Christ.
Repair and improve Single Mom homes making them safe.
Provide our community with the gift of safe water, clean hands and healthy bodies assisting with Water Truck deliveries in areas with no fresh water source.
Bring hope to families in need, leading to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Live Simply for Orphans resides in Peru
accepting short-term mission groups.
Our outreach touches many different backgrounds and locations in Peru & Colombia. Each team helps select a team project to leave impact and lasting bookmark. Live Simply is connected to a community church and has care giving staff in a Christ centered environment.
We can host short-term trips year round. Live Simply staff will share our daily journey with your team 24/7. We will always have multiple bi-lingual staff members with your team at all times. Our Live Simply support team will also share accommodations with your team 24/7 at our Live Simply Mission House, local secure hostel or hotel depending on your team preferences. Visitors can serve with our staff on-site or in the local community. Every new group of visitors encompasses unique abilities, ideas, expectations, and goals. Our staff is committed to work directly with each group to make every trip a successful, secure and meaningful experience.

Additional excursions options include a hike on one of the Seven Wonders of the World at Machu Picchu, Mountain biking down a Volcano, Zip Lining Colca Canyon (the world’s 2nd deepest canyon),exploring nature in the Amazon Jungle or a boat ride to the floating thatch Uros Khantati Islands!
