For more than a decade, God has allowed our family to serve and love people in Peru and Colombia. Now, we are incredibly thankful to see the next generation answer His call.
PERU, HERE THEY COME!
Sandro and Maisie, along with their boys Steele, Niko, and Hunter, are moving to Peru to serve as full-time missionaries, continuing the work God began through our Live Simply for Orphans ministry.
They will continue helping lead and serve at our Special Needs Orphanage, oversee our Feeding Program for single mothers raising children with special needs and disabilities, support our MMI medical clinics, and help with our upcoming Wheelchair Clinic this fall.
But at the heart of every program is one purpose: loving people, sharing Jesus, and making disciples.
What a blessing to see our children and grandchildren carrying the Gospel forward!
MAISIE SHARED THESE WORDS AS THEY PREPARED TO LEAVE:
“Today is the day.
After months of praying, preparing, packing, selling, giving away, and saying some of the hardest goodbyes… today we leave for Peru.
It’s hard to put into words what this moment feels like. There is excitement and sadness, peace and uncertainty, all wrapped together.
But one thing we know with certainty: God has called us to go.
We aren’t going because it’s easy. We aren’t going because we have everything figured out. We’re going because we believe Jesus is worth saying yes to.
We’re going to love God, love people, make disciples, strengthen families, serve the local church, and share the hope of Jesus with the people of Peru.
To every person who has prayed for us, encouraged us, supported us, hugged us, cried with us, and reminded us of God’s faithfulness—thank you. You are a part of this story too.
The waiting is over.
Peru, here we come.

Just obedience.
Just faith.
Just Jesus.”
