NEW MINISTRY PLANT IN COLOMBIA

We have begun laying the foundation for new ministry opportunities to serve orphans, street people and the mentally challenged in Bucaramanga, Colombia! Don’t worry, we are firmly committed to our beloved Peru yet felt compelled to grow our outreach into Cristy's hometown!

We were crushed to see people in such need for love and hope in Colombia living in the streets , parks trapped in the chains of addiction, trafficking, prostitution and poverty. God convicted our hearts to join forces with existing ministries in these areas and make them better. We chose go into the fringe "hot" areas controlled by the cartels and sex trafficking due to the extreme needs of  forgotten people .

We are serving in a permanent "home" (much like an Asylum ) for 190 street people. This Christ centered street ministry provides daily church services, devotions, permanent shelter, meals and healthcare for its residents. They are provided a home, rehab, counseling and help to transition back into the community from homelessness, addiction, and incarceration.   Due to long term addiction, many now have no family, no where to go, surviving day to day in the streets.  We help rescue them providing The Gospel , rehab, devotions, shelter and love. Thank you for allowing us to share a message of hope thru Jesus Christ!

This  “raw” facility is a Christ centered mission for street people offering drug and alcohol rehab for men and women allowing 18 months of help and permanent residency. Sadly, most residents will live here until heaven due to deterioration of their mental capacity.

Her never-ending smile shows the joy in her heart. Many seniors live here, abandoned by family, but have a permanent home here until Heaven.

Our friend came off the streets in severe addiction after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. He spent several weeks in a coma, unable to walk and yet after months of rehab, prayer and God’s grace, he now is sober with a life change in Christ. He will have plenty of time to stay here and recover. He shares stories of a destroyed life in the streets in addiction without family or purpose. We pray he can beat the odds and not return to the streets.

We envision a world where every person with a disability, mental illness, in trafficking  or addiction finds the love of family, hope, dignity, and their place in the body of Christ. “Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.… Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full”

We are now back in Peru with several mission teams visiting here to help serve with us! We covet your prayers for our feeding program, medical clinics, eye clinics and wheelchair distribution this summer and fall. We are glad to be home with our  special needs orphanage and special needs school kids with your help!

It’s All LOVE!
