Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Seasonal Job Meeting Our Local Needs

As Military lockdown continues, strict quarantine coupled with heightened crime are making it a dangerous season for many hungry families. We are feeding families with your support. Continued prayers for our beloved Live Simply 4 Orphans Ministry and protect Sandro, Maisie , Niko and Steele in Peru.

We anticipate boarders will remain closed thru November. Cristy and I plan on returning to PERU as soon as the boarders re-open. As self supported missionaries, we are unable to meet our needs in the USA without income, we are not drawing against Live Simply Ministry. Dave will begin a FT Seasonal job (for Sept, Oct, Nov) with Samaritan’s Purse : Operation Christmas Child assisting in the Charlotte Shoebox Processing Center. This hourly job will allow us to meet our costs while serving our Lord thru this Ministry while in USA.

HOUSE DELIVERY TO THE HUNGRY!

    Five month of lockdown continues. Sandro can now drop off food rations by bike. 

    Peru now has  issued a highest level 4 Crime Alert for Americans advising not to leave houses In addition to the military lockdown (5 months now) Americans are being told to be aware of robberies, car jacking, bus jacking and theft now happening in daylight too as people are not working and hunger is rampant. US Military in Peru can only travel during daylight now. Do not rely on our military to rescue. Over 100,000 arrests for breaking quarantine has not slowed down the spread of Covid . Keep in mind, we have over 1 million Venezuelans now too in Peru. Over 30,000 reports of domestic abuse have been reported in lockdown. Over 900 women/girls have been reported missing during this time. There is no National Registry for Missing persons in Peru which complicates the issue. 

     The economy is collapsing and the President has changed his cabinet hoping for improvement. It’s a real dangerous mess and much prayer is needed.

PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY

PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY  Peru’s President has extended the strict military lockdown thru the end of June. Hunger, fear & misinformation have swept the country as thousands flee the cities in search of food, shelter & work. No busses, taxis or personal vehicles are allowed. Kids are not allowed outside. We trust the LORD wants us to feed our single Mom families during this time. WE ARE FEEDING FAMILIES DURING THIS LOCKDOWN.
